No one will be there,
To brush my cheek from the straying hair.
No one will be there,
To hold my hand to comfort me as I sleep.
No one will be there,
A vigilance over me to keep,
As I leave this land to go to my eternal sleep.
No one will be there,
To watch me take my final breath.
No one will be there,
As there is no one to come!
No one will be there,
As there is no one here now!
